For the past 28 years, we have helped increase the mobility, enhance the self image and enrich the lives of children and adults through the "magic" of equine-assisted therapeutic riding.
Equine-assisted therapy is widely recognized as one of the most beneficial forms of recreational therapy available to those with disabilities. In addition to its physical benefits, horseback riding gives a child or adult a feeling of great joy, freedom and accomplishment.
You can be part of the gratifying work we do, and be directly responsible for bringing smiles to the faces of young and old. Consistantly, we see students develop abilities and skills which improve the quality fo their daily lives, and the lives of their loves ones and families.
Horses and the Handicapped receives no state or federal funding, depending instead on the generosity of members in our community.
We have many ways in which you can participate in H&H and help us bring therapeutic riding to a person in need.
Here are just a few ideas:

Individual membership support is the cornerstone on which delivery of our program's basic services depends. Your membership support at higher levels allows us to provide more depth in services, touch more clients, create new activities, and keep class sizes small.
